I am seeking a Senior IT/Finance Business Systems Analyst with 6-8 years experience for a client offering a direct-hire position located in the South Bay Area, CA. By performing this action, your chances of an interview increase. Position Description: ·            Oversee Enterprise Accounting structure (maintain multi-org structure in Oracle R11i), period closing and adjustments, Template country load & support, Consolidations, Finance Statements and reports (FSG maintenance and support, P/L, balance sheet, …etc), Budget vs. Actual, Plan vs. Actual·            Hyperion system and MGMT support, Commission/ Performance analysis and reports, Sales/Use tax (N.A. and all countries), and audit support (Income tax, Finance and SOX). Responsibilities include: ·            Maintain Oracle R11i setups to reflect correct corporation structures and account changes·            Participate in business process design activity to financial accounting is handled correctly according to US GAAP Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ·            Evaluates and analyzes user requirements for new or modified information systems and determines feasibility, cost, and time required, and compatibility with current systems.·            Consults with user to clarify program objectives and current operating procedures.·            Prepares system proposal, obtains user acceptance, develops system and identifies programs to be created or modified and coordinates smooth implementation into production.·            Functions as principal IT owner of specific applications.·            Primary IT support contact. Knowledge and Experience: ·            Requires a BS in Information or Computer Science or computer related technical area or equivalent in directly related experience.·            Proficiency in one or more programming languages required.·            Expertise in Oracle R11i financial applications—AR, AP, cash, multi-org structure, etc.·            Requires six to eight years of directly related experience supporting multiple business applications with significant design or project leadership responsibility. Are you interested?
