Purpose/Role Statement
Responsible for all aspects of program implementation and /or project management throughout the designated region. This involves building and sustaining effective partnerships with the HR Service Center, business clients, site/functional coordinators and the global and regional training teams. Also responsible for building and/or maintaining learning processes, tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage regional training & compliance reporting process including standardized reports and ad-hoc reports
- Use reporting data and analysis to drive training forecast and better utilization of training resources to meet required training demands.
- Support reporting processes to ensure learner compliance to required quality systems training programs
- Partner with the corporate and regional training teams and the HR Service Center to assure smooth planning and implementation of classroom delivered programs at each regional site.
- Identify cross functional partners who will be on-site to coordinate materials, manage room logistics and assist course facilitators/vendors with on-site course needs.
- Maintain unique regional curriculum requirements.
- Maintain regional e-learning programs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Learning & Development business processes.
- Identify implementation needs for new programs and drive continuous improvements for existing programs.
- Manage the implementation plan, execute the plan, and evaluate outcome results and impact.
- Build/maintain regional tools and practices that enhance learning and drive accountability for development to the individual and his/her manager.
- Build and sustain regional Learning & Development communication channels to assure learners are connected to L&D and know how to take advantage of learning activities, tools and resources (e.g. newsletters, new hire processes, etc.).
- Partner with third parties (such as universities, vendors) as well as sales training leaders to coordinate learning experiences such as but not limited to Hospital Visits, Live Viewing, Centers of Excellence and other learning experiences for regional learners.
- Ensure all training and tracking practices comply with the requirements of BSC Quality System and applicable local department practices.
- Use/manage learning data to help regional L&D team make effective decisions and drive business results (e.g. needs analysis, completion reports, measurement data, etc.)
- Support regional change management initiatives, such as survey follow-up action planning and execution of plan details.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications - A minimum of two years experience in training administration or event planning
- Must be highly skilled in Microsoft products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as People Soft or other HRIS systems. Experience using Dreamweaver, Flash, Front Page, Fireworks, HTML, ASP or other associated tools is a big plus.
- Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple priorities and manage requests coming from a variety of sources, users, facilities.
- Must be a self starter with a clear focus on customer service and proven track record of continuous improvement ideas and implementation.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with experience writing effective internal communications to large audiences.
- Must be highly effective at building relationships and influencing internal and external customers and vendors. Must have proven track record of working through others in a cross functional and multi-site environment.
- Comfortable working with varying levels and diverse employees from other regions and cultures.
- Two or four year college degree preferred
